Industrial blower for fly ash pneumatic transport in PPC lignite thermal power plant

This project took place at a thermal power plant of 1200MW power production capacity.

Lignite produces huge amounts of ash during burning process, which has to be removed away at a sufficient distance.

The transfer of ash for this process is performed through pneumatic transport with the use of powerful industrial blowers.

In this specific case Michos SA installed and commissioned a lobe blower with capacity 7000m3/h and installed power 90kW.

At the same thermal power plant our company has delivered a big number of low-pressure industrial blowers, such as the one shown in the picture, to facilitate similar applications in the plant.
