Biological desulphurization for biogas and dehumidifcation system, Psitalia WWTP, EYDAP , Athens
Wastewater treatment plant constructed for a capacity of 5,630,000 population equivalent.
Michos SA installed and commissioned a biological desulphurization for biogas and dehumidifcation system of 2500Nm³/h supply.
- The desulphurization system consists of 2 columns of 3m diameter and 12m height each, and is especially designed in order to result in a drastic decrease of hydrogen sulphide concentration (Η2S) of the produced biogas, from 2000 ppm to 70 ppm.
- The system provides the power plant of Psitalia with treated biogas of 11.4MW power.
